Welcome to a unique sports nutrition training blog offering free nutrition insight from a sports dietitian (me) for the next 11 weeks.

Over the years I have helped individuals with nutrition advice to support their activity goals. Now, since starting a private practice in nutrition and cooking, I want to give back to my Sacramento community. I am born and raised in the Sacramento area and have always known about, helped with, or been a support person for the legendary Eppie’s Great Race triathalon. It is the last year of this epic race and it’s time to challenge up! This year I am going to train for the triathlon myself, and I will share my sports nutrition tips along the way.

As I train, I will share nutrition training insight to give you that edge up on your training goals, recipes and nutrition tips to keep your fuel optimized, even when you are a busy on the go person, like me. What better way to give back to this Sacramento community that I love so much!
