Growing up in sports and activity I always had an interest in nutrition. From swimming and playing soccer to hiking and cycling, I have an interest in being active to feel good even today. My love for food and passion for sharing nutrition insights has been with me from a young age.

Before becoming a Private Practice Dietitian, I worked for 12 years at the University of California, Davis where I was able to grow a robust nutrition services program that included clinical work and programming that included a cooking series, food access, and wellness programs. It was on campus where I became a Board Certified Sports Specialist while working with athletes of all levels. With a strong clinical background I have focused training in weight management, eating disorders, sports nutrition, diabetes, and have managed all types of nutritional needs. I have training in food allergies and GI issues including FODMAP meal plans, as well as plant based eating and vegetarian eating. I work with clients of all ages, from pediatrics all the way through to mature adults.

I personally step up to the challenge of getting in a workout most days while eating well and can relate to the challenges of balancing fitness and nutrition with other life demands. I am passionate about my family (including my crazy dog) and spending time in the garden. For me, activity and food give me the best energy and vitality on a daily basis. I thrive in sharing nutrition tips and supporting others on their journey to meeting health goals.
What can I do for you? Give me a call or email to set up a time to meet, I look forward to getting to know you!

Former Student Assistant:

Hello! My name is Olivia Marrone and I am currently a third-year, Clinical Nutrition student at UC Davis. After 3 years at Davis, I have developed a deep passion and respect for the community and the people within it, and this is why I am SO excited to be assisting Ryann in her journey as she trains for Eppies Great Race. Anyways, a little more about me: I am originally from the Bay Area, where I lived with my parents, sister, and two adorable puppies. In my free time, I enjoy cooking, hiking, running, going to the beach, and spending time with friends. As I near the end of my time at UC Davis, I aspire to become a Registered Dietitian, just like Ryann! I am particularly interested in going into private practice and sports nutrition. My major goal in life is simply to inspire people to eat healthily and live well. I can't wait to go on this journey with you!
Best,
Olivia Marrone
